Wine Down: Sterile Processing Open House

The April 2024 Wine Down: Sterile Processing Open House will focus on Health and Wellness! This is an important field many University CoWork members work in that also contributes to the vitality of our community.

Quality healthcare, patient safety, education, and career advancement. This is what longtime University CoWork member Kefiloe Tsotetsi - entrepreneur with healthcare administration and consulting experience at both Accenture and Rush University - provides through her firm Steri-Central. Business partner Koyi Williams (former member who recently moved out of state) will also participate. SteriCentral provides education, skills training, and examination preparation for carers in the "Central Service Departments" of hospitals. Check out their blog post on the event.

Attendees will enjoy Mimosas & Samosas, Charcuterie, and great connections with professionals across the health and wellness space. We will network, learn about healthcare administration, and discover how entrepreneurs can pay a role in safeguarding patient safety.

Health and wellness entrepreneurs play a crucial role in shaping the vitality on the Southside of Chicago. In a community where access to quality healthcare services is often limited, these entrepreneurs step up to provide innovative solutions and bridge the gap. Their work goes beyond simply offering products or services; they can be catalysts for change, advocating for better health outcomes and empowering individuals to take control of their well-being. By working in fields such as health care career development and hospital staffing, entrepreneurs like Kefiloe Tsotetsi contribute to the growth and development of the healthcare sector in Chicago's Southside. Their dedication and passion for improving health disparities in underserved communities make this presence all the more important. As the University CoWork Wine Down event highlights the significance of health and wellness, it serves as a platform for these entrepreneurs to share their expertise and inspire others to join the cause. Together, they are building a healthier future for the Southside of Chicago.
